BIG PEDAL 2016

Today the children at John Perryn competed in a national competition called ‘The Big Pedal’. We had 133 children (that’s almost 1 third of children) riding a bike or scooter to school. As a reward bikes and scooters were chosen at random to win prizes such as bells, waterbottles and Oxygen Free Jump tickets. Our details have been entered onto the competition website, fingers crossed we will receive a prize.  Well done Riders!

Easter Egg Hunt – 24.03.16

The children from EYFS and KS1 searched high and low all around the garden area to find themselves and egg. Whereas the KS2 children looked at a map which identified egg ‘Hot Spots’ and had to work as a team to collect 70 eggs hidden around the entire playground in order for everyone to have one each. The children in year 5 and six collected over 140 eggs each which meant that they each had 2 eggs. It was so pleasing to see every year group working as a team. Thank you Miss Kelly! Well done John Perryn!
